Mike Hanley

Mike Hanley is a professional writer and journalist.
He writes for AFR Boss magazine and a clutch of other titles in Australia and overseas. He works with the Economist Intelligence Unit, and has a number of global corporate communications clients including Marsh, Swiss Re, the big four accountants, and consultants Towers Perrin. He has written several books, including Crunch Time: how everyday life is killing the future and Can You Trust the Media? with Adrian Monck. He studied economics and philosophy at the London School of Economics, and has an MBA from the London Business School. He lives and works in Bondi.

What I'm working on

June 22: Developing a digital and print initiative for a major business school based in Sydney; trying to get through a mountain of books that have come in the mail for review in Boss; a feature story on the impact of the porn industry on the development of information technology and communications. Also, the au pair is away on holidays...which always complicates things on the home front...
